Mark Oconnor bandThe Mark O’Connor Band

The Mark O’Connor Band’s debut album, Coming Home, reached Number 1 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums chart in 2016 and won Best Bluegrass Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards in 2017. The band, featuring iconic fiddler and composer Mark O’Connor, together with his wife Maggie, son Forrest, daughter-in-law Kate, National Flatpick Guitar Champion Joe Smart and double bassist/old-time banjoist Geoff Saunders. In a whirlwind two years, the band has also performed at the Grammy Awards, and received standing ovations at the Grand Ole Opry. Their dynamic show blends country and pop sensibilities with americana rawness, bluegrass drive, and chamber music sophistication. Their new single “In My Blood” features multiplatinum Grammy Award-Winning artist Zac Brown.

Over the last three decades, Lori McKenna has emerged as one of the most respected, prolific singer-songwriters in popular music. Her 2016 release The Bird and the Rifle netted three Grammy nominations, along with Americana Music Association nods. In 2016, she became the first woman ever to win CMA’s Song of the Year two years in a row thanks to co-writing Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” and penning Tim McGraw’s no. 1 “Humble and Kind” solo. Both songs also clinched back-to-back Grammy wins for Best Country Song. In 2017, she became the Academy of Country Music’s first female Songwriter of the Year. Her new album “The Tree” is scheduled. for release on July 20th.

Ruthi Foster learned to sing during worship services at her community church near Austin Texas. With a chapel-bred bravado trained on the works of powerful women such as Mavis Staples and Aretha Franklin, her sound grew into an inspired blend of blues, folk and gospel. Joining the Navy was one way for Ruthie to stake out her own path. It was during her time singing for the Navy band Pride that her love for performing became apparent. She has been nominated three times in a row for a Best Blues Album Grammy. She also has received seven Blues Music Awards, and a Living Blues Critics’ Award for Female Blues Artist of the Year.

Sierra Hull is a virtuoso mandolin-player and the 1st ever female to win the prestigious IBMA Award for Mandolin Player of the Year. She has delivered her most inspired, accomplished, and mature recorded work to date. Weighted Mind is a landmark achievement, not just in Sierra Hull’s career, but in the world of folk-pop, bluegrass, and acoustic music overall and nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Folk Album. Sierra performs with her duo partner Justin Moses an in-demand acoustic instrumentalist playing mandolin, guitar, banjo, fiddle, dobro and bass with dozens of award-winning musical artists including Bela Fleck, Emmylou Harris and Alison Krauss among others.
