2015 Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival Announces Corporate and Private Sponsorships
Three Connecticut businesses, Festival Executive Committee member join in Supporting the Festival on the New London Waterfront
NEW LONDON, Conn. (July 13, 2015) – Three companies have signed on as the first sponsors for the Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival, to be held on the New London waterfront September 9-12. Peoples United Bank, Frontier Communications and F&F Distributors are the Festival’s first corporate sponsors.
“We thank Peoples, Frontier and F&F for their generous support for the Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival,” said Bruce MacDonald, Chief Operating Officer. “As our first sponsors, they have show commitment to our community, and we look forward to having additional Connecticut businesses join us in supporting the Festival.”
Festival Executive Committee Member and Assistant Treasurer Jefferson Harris has also signed on as a sponsor.
The Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival, the concluding event of Connecticut’s Coast Guard Summer, will include the appearance of the Tall Ship Oliver Hazard Perry, a schooner race, a Captain’s Ball honoring University of Connecticut President Susan Herbst, a juried art show and the Great New London Chowder Challenge.
